Report by the Attorney General, dated March 5th,

REGR 10 APR 1885

Report on Ordinance 18.2 of. 1883.

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance being an Ordinance entitled the Mahomedan Cemetery Ordinance Amendment Ordinance, 1883, and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.

The effect of this Ordinance is to extinguish all rights of access to the Mahomedan Cemetery that might be supposed to survive under section 4 of Ordinance 8 of 1867, so as to enable the Government to utilize the site for building purposes.
